The manuscript these short conversations have been extracted from were written by Herrnhuter missionaries, but the language ressembles native (basilectal or acrolectal) Negerhollands much more than the language of most other missionary documents.
Two short conversations extracted from a Hernnhuter missionary manuscript grammar of Negerhollands: 'Grammatik der Creol-Sprache in West-Indiën'. They have been included in Hessseling (1905): the Dutch headings in the document are his.
