  description : Sinds 1950 is het boekenbezit van het Meertens Instituut vastgelegd in een catalogus (ca. 55.000 titelbeschrijvingen). Vanaf 1995 wordt het in gedigitaliseerde vorm bijgehouden. In 2005 zijn de kaarten gedigitaliseerd, gecorrigeerd en opgenomen in de bibliotheekcatalogus die beschikbaar is via internet. In 2012 is dit retro-project afgerond. De collectie bestaat uit 48 catalogusbakken en een computerbestand (Filemaker).
